Calling all foodies: Introducing the LLV food cart

by | Aug 7, 2023 | Dining, Puerto Galera, Resort

There’s no arguing that the food and service in the Lalaguna Villas restaurant is the best to be found anywhere in Puerto Galera, in fact the best on the whole island of Mindoro.

But until now, that exceptional quality has been reserved for those who stay in the resort or who come in off the warm sands of Small Lalaguna bay to enjoy the experience of sitting by our pool and having breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Now however, we are delighted to announce that we have invested in a way to bring LLV-quality snacks and treats to more people, with the launch of our brand new state of the art food cart, situated on the Sabang boardwalk – or regularly to be found gracing parade routes or festival locations during the Philippines’ many public holidays and feast days!

This small but mighty mobile meal dispensary currently specialises in  mouthwatering crepes, of both the sweet and savoury variety, as well as providing a selection of ice cold drinks perfect for quenching your thirst on a hot day.

In amongst our savoury menu you will find taste sensations inspired by the best of french, english, american, Italian and greek cuisine.

Try the Countryside Crepe: a veritable English feast of chicken, onion, spinach, garlic and carrot, with cheddar cheese and caesar dressing.

Or grab a Mona Liza with flavours of a Stateside diner or deli, with crispy bacon, fried egg, two cheese and mushrooms.

Feeling more mediterranean? There’s the Italian, with pepperoni, mozzarella, pesto and cherry tomatoes, or the Baba Ganoush Galette with aubergine and sesame puree tomato and basil.

If dessert is on your mind however, you can’t go far wrong with a traditional sugar and lemon crepe, available for just 115 pesos.

But if your sweet tooth is feeling more adventurous, grab a Quebec, with banana, almonds and maple syrup, or try a Hazel-mania, featuring hazelnut and cream as well as Swiss milk chocolate, caramel and hazelnut ice cream.

And if you’re in the mood for something fruity, try a Tropical, with watermelon, mango, banana, pineapple, nutella cream and vanilla ice cream! A mouth-watering blend of island flavours guaranteed to put you on an emotional high to match your sugar high!

With ice cold drinks also available and the personal service with a smile you’d expect from every member of the LLV team, our new venture is fast proving to be one of Sabang’s hottest food spots. Come down and see us!
