One of the greatest joys of scuba diving is the opportunity to visit what seems to be another world teeming with alien life. Not only do the seas of Puerto Galera abound with reef fish and sea turtles, sharks and rays, but a vast ecosystem of invertebrate life including many species of starfish, including, in this one photo, a blue sea star, a necklace starfish and a granulated sea star, as well as a feather star or crinoid
