Each of our instructors has been through PADI’s rigorous training program and has reached the level of at least PADI Staff Instructor. They each have different experiences and specializations and you can learn something different from each instructor. The dive shop is run with the highest degree of professionalism.
As well as getting a top quality diving education, you will get to experience some of the best diving in the world. Unlimited diving is included in the package which includes daily dive/s.
We offer several standard packages, but we will tailor a program suited to your needs and budget. After your initial contact with us, we will assess your needs and design a suitable program for you. After you arrive you will be treated as an individual. You will not be just one more intern among a mass of many. Class sizes are very small and often one-on-one.

Some budding dive professionals wish to learn on a part-time basis due to educational or work commitments and Lalaguna Villas offers flexible, part-time professional development to suit your availability.
For those who wish to accelerate their progress to dive professional, we recommend a full-time internship program. We believe that complete immersion in a dive operation is the best way to prepare you for a future in the dive industry.
Our experienced instructors will ensure you meet the highest PADI standards, but when you are not participating in courses you may find yourself:
- Assisting our experienced divemasters, including diving with guests;
- Socializing, completing logbooks, and perusing fish identification books with guests;
- Assisting our instructors in teaching a wide variety of PADI courses;
- Learning how to fill scuba tanks and how to blend Nitrox breathing gasses;
- Learning about all local dive sites and sharing this knowledge with guests;
- How to drive a boat and how to hoist and throw an anchor;
- How to plan and manage diving day trips;
- How to plan tomorrow’s diving board & activities;
- How to service and care for equipment; and
- How to run a safe and efficient dive shop.
These are all useful skills for a budding dive professional and if you are still not dived out, jump on any dive boat because unlimited diving is included in the Lalaguna Villas professional internship!
