Once upon a time a charismatic grouper nicknamed Ernie chose a small cave this beautiful reef wall to call home. Ernie has moved on but the site has kept his name, and features thousands of bright yellow sea cucumbers in addition to larger and more mobile delights
You want wreck diving? This site has four sunken vessels. You want sea turtles? You’ll probably spot several here. Like tropical fish? You can swim through shoals of them. Only a beginner? That’s okay this is only 18m deep. Don’t like long journeys? Sabang Wrecks is two minutes by speedboat from our front door. Some dive sites just have it all.

The 60-ton wreck of the Alma Jane sits 30m below the waves of Lalaguna Bay and provides a home for frogfish, lionfish, schools of batfish and rabbitfish, garden eels, mantis shrimp, crinoids and all manner of hard and soft corals
