We sat down with the woman who has been at LLV Divers since it all began – IDC Staff Instructor Ja Atienza – to talk teaching, turtles, and triggerfish.
“My favourite thing to see is turtles! I’m not only happy when I see them, I want to see the look in the face of my divers when they see the sea turtles. Every time, even if it’s every day or every dive, I am still happy to see them.”

LLV returning guest Kyle Smith, from Tulsa USA, says diving with LLV in Puerto Galera has been the best experience of his more than 400 dives all over the world.
“My experience here has been fantastic,” he said, “You’ve got a great mix of muck and reef, which, some of the other areas I’ve been to have one or the other but not a good mix of both…”

Well after months, and years of saying it about ourselves, and quite rightly so, the town of Puerto Galera and its more than 60 dive operators are celebrating the fact that we have officially been named the Diving Capital of the Philippines!
